Siddeswar Chakraborty

Founder & Electronics Engineer

FlashTool.org was created by Siddeswar Chakraborty, an electronics engineer with hands-on experience in mobile device repair, firmware development, and embedded systems. He started this site in 2015 because he kept running into the same problem: there was no single, trustworthy place where technicians could find the right flash tool, driver, or firmware for any Android device — without searching through scattered forums and questionable download sites.

His background in electronics and his practical work with Android devices across multiple chipset platforms — MediaTek, Qualcomm, Spreadtrum, Rockchip — gave him the technical depth to know what tools work, which drivers are correct, and how to explain the process clearly to people of all skill levels.

Every tool page, guide, and firmware listing on this site has been shaped by that first-hand experience. Siddeswar continues to maintain and update the site, adding new tools and keeping existing content accurate as the Android ecosystem evolves.

What FlashTool.org Offers

Everything on this site is free, verified, and explained — no paywalls, no ads in the download stream, no hidden steps.

Android Flash Tools

We list and document the most widely used flashing programs for every major chipset — SP Flash Tool for MediaTek, QPST for Qualcomm, SPD Flash Tool for UNISOC, Odin for Samsung, and 80+ more tools with clear download links and setup guides.

Stock ROM & Firmware

We maintain a growing directory of official stock firmware for 30+ Android brands — from Samsung and Xiaomi to regional manufacturers like Symphony, Walton, and Karbonn. Each page links to the original firmware source and explains how to use it.

How We Keep This Resource Trustworthy

Trust is not claimed — it is earned by consistently doing the right things. Here is how we approach every page on this site.

We Verify Before We Publish

Every tool, firmware link, and driver listed on this site is checked before it goes live. We confirm the file is the real version from the correct source and that it does what the page claims. We do not simply copy links from other sites and hope for the best.

We Write Our Own Content

All guides, descriptions, and explanations on this site are written in-house. Nothing is copied from other sources. We write from practical experience with the actual tools — which means the instructions reflect how the software actually works, not how someone assumed it works.

We Update When Things Change

Tool versions change. Drivers get updated. Firmware packages are released in newer builds. We review our pages on a regular basis and update links and information when the underlying software changes. A page that has not been reviewed in years is not something we let stand.

No Paywalls, No Misleading Downloads

Everything on FlashTool.org is free. There are no premium tiers, no paid fast downloads, and no download pages designed to trick you into installing something else. We link directly to files or to the official source — nothing in between.

A Named, Real Person Runs This

This is not an anonymous site. FlashTool.org has a named founder with a public professional profile — Siddeswar Chakraborty, an electronics engineer. You can verify who is behind this resource. That transparency is something we consider a basic responsibility, not optional.

Built for a Global Audience

We include tools and firmware for regional brands that serve South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Africa — not just the major global manufacturers. Mobile repair professionals in these markets deserve the same quality resources as technicians anywhere else in the world.

FlashTool.org — A Brief History

Who Uses FlashTool.org?

The largest group of visitors are mobile repair technicians — people who run phone repair shops or work in OEM service centers and need quick, reliable access to the right firmware, flash tool, or driver for whatever device comes across their bench that day. When a customer walks in with a bricked Samsung or a Xiaomi that failed an update, the technician needs the correct tool and firmware within minutes, not after searching through a dozen forum threads.

The second major group is Android developers and ROM builders — people who work with custom Android builds, test firmware on multiple devices, and need chipset-specific tools like SP Flash Tool or QPST as part of their regular workflow. These users often need access to specific driver versions or older firmware packages that are hard to find elsewhere.

The third group is everyday Android users who have hit a problem — a phone that stopped working after an update, a device they want to restore before selling, or a bricked phone they received from someone else. This group benefits most from our step-by-step guides, which are written specifically to be understandable without a technical background.

The main resource on this site is the Android section, which organises everything by category. From there you can access the full flash tool library, the stock ROM and firmware directory, and the USB driver collection. For device engineers, the developer calculator and engineering converter are available as standalone tools. For privacy information, see our Privacy Policy. If you have any feedback, idea, or just want to say hello, drop a line at helpflashtool.org@gmail.com. I read every email and I'm always looking to improve.
